When someone leaves this world

When someone leaves this world— 

It's not what God has done to them,

it's the ultimate pain

to the ones left behind.

 A silence echoes where laughter lived,

a chair stays empty at the table,

and every memory becomes

both a gift and a wound.

For someone—

she may be a mother,

she may be a wife,

she may be a sister,

she holds many relationships,

woven with love, sacrifice, and care.

When she’s gone,
